He commenced his professional career at the former Swiss Federal Customs Administration, where he qualified as a certified customs specialist. Beginning in 2009, Oliver Hulliger served as a tax advisor at various international consulting firms (Big Four), providing strategic and operational guidance on complex cross-border matters. As of May 2025, he holds the position of Senior Advisor at Tax Partner, where he advises both domestic and multinational enterprises, drawing on his extensive expertise in customs and international trade regulations. Additionally, Oliver Hulliger supports clients in areas related to indirect taxation, as well as environmental taxes and levies. He is a frequent speaker at selected industry events and regularly contributes publications on specialist topics in the customs and trade domain.
